The Space

This existing basement provides walkout access to the pool area, but was underutilized due to the lack of a bathroom. Multiple layout options were explored, and a final design that includes a bathroom, wet bar, and bedroom/ office space quickly became our favorite.

The Materials

The client wanted to incorporate William Morris’s Strawberry Thief pattern into the design, which provided a great pallet of complimentary color options. Deep green cabinets and tile at the wet bar kitchen draw from the wall paper color, while a calm white bathroom helps to break up the space.
